As mentioned in the previous post, Damon's mom has been staying with us this week. She kept asking us what we would like for Xmas and mentioning that she had seen Wii and Wii Fit over at Costco and that it may be a good bday/Xmas combo for us. Originally Damon and I had agreed that I would buy him the Wii for a graduation present when he was done with his PhD (as not to distract him from his work), but we decided that it was too good of an offer from his parents and that we would take them up on the gift idea.
So, mom got the console and Wii Fit at Costco yesterday afternoon and she decided we should go ahead and "test it out"...which meant Xmas and birthday came early this year!!! Damon and mom stayed up last night playing and had a blast. Damon is currently working on push ups and side planks on the Wii Fit...it actually looks tough...I don't think I could do it! I am excited to have the Wii for the entertainment purposes, but doubly excited to use the Wii Fit to tackle this baby weight and get to my pre-pregnancy size! Super thanks to Grandma Donna and Grandpa Michael!
