First...a shout out to my parents who are celebrating their anniversary tonight! And second...Damon and I are getting new phones! Woohoo! We have been going back and forth about updating our phones. Right now I have the most basic Nokia there is...literally...and Damon has a Tmobile Dash, which was nice at one point, but now shocks you a little bit every time you use it. In November we finally finished our 2 year contact with Tmobile and were eligible for new phones. The big question was, with all this new technology (iphone, Droid) which phone do we get?!?! And do we really want to spend all that extra money on a data plan. At first we said heck yes...and then heck no...and after hemming and hawing were at a stand still...until I saw this:
Free android phones!!! Are you kidding me?!?!? It seemed to good to be true, but it wasn't!!! (well we did have some issues with customer service once we tried to add on the device protection service, but I believe we finally resolved that issue and we may even be getting a free blue tooth headset and upgraded free shipping because of the hassle! : ) It all started when Damon came home from work saying that the new Droid (which was our original intent for a new phone) cost $120 through Dell Mobility vs. $200 through Verizon. Well, it's a good thing we couldn't make up our minds because when I went back to the site this week they were now offering Verizon's competitor to the droid - the HTC Droid Eris for FREE! Which made our decision much easier...Damon and I were able to snatch up 2 new android platform phones for nothing! I definitely advise anyone who is looking for a new phone and doesn't have a contract to check this deal out! I'll update you next week and let you know how we like the phones!!! Can't wait : )
