So as I alluded to in yesterday's post I went to SFL for 2 weekends in a row to celebrate bridal festivities for one of my best friends as well as for my sister. The first weekend was for Jess's bridal shower/bachelorette party. We hit up Hard Rock Hotel and Casino for the night and had a blast. We started our day off at the pool where we rented a little daybed and had a quaint shower for Jess. That evening we ate dinner at Tatu. The food was good, but the best part of the evening was that when they bring the check, they also bring a huge sour apple cotton candy along with it for the table! It had to be one of the most delicious treats I have ever had! After dinner we hit the clubs. Jess's fiance really hooked us up and had us set up VIP style at one of the better clubs. We got 2 free bottles of champagne and a bottle of vodka (too bad I couldn't partake). We danced and drank (fruit juice and water for me) until we couldn't stay awake any longer...and then we headed back up to the hotel for the night. Well at least me and Kath did - Kelly got a second wind and headed down to the Casino with Jess. Not me - I had a 3.5 hour drive ahead of me the next morning! It was a wonderful weekend and I am so glad I got to see my best friends. It is amazing that it has already been 15 years since we met!
