So, with the first pregnancy I made the decision that we would not find out the sex even though Damon preferred to know. I enjoyed the excitement of not knowing and the anticipation of finding out on the big day. But this time around, although my preference is still not knowing, I felt it was only fair for Damon to get to chose what he wanted to do, so of course we found out.
It was kind of funny too because she kept putting her hands down so we couldn't see anything (quite modest I suppose), but eventually we got the shot we needed and were told that we were having a little girl.
Although I would be happy with either sex and think that there are certainly benefits to each, I am very excited to be having a little girl. It will be a neat experience to have the opposite sex this time. And now I can buy all the fun little tutu's and hair bows to photograph her in too! I can't wait! Here are the pictures from today's ultrasound - the quality isn't great because I just have the print outs and had to scan them, but better than nothing : )
i still can't believe you're pregnant. you seriously do NOT look pregnant. great ultrasound shots. and congrats, i'm looking forward to my new little niece :-)
